THE BASICS

From examples to outputs.

AI is a broad field. Different systems use different methods, and the result depends on their design, data, and intended task.

01 · INPUT

Data and examples

A system receives information, such as text, images, measurements, or user instructions.

02 · MODEL

Patterns and rules

An algorithm processes inputs. In machine learning, a model adjusts its internal parameters using examples and an objective.

03 · OUTPUT

Prediction or generation

The system produces a result, such as a classification, recommendation, forecast, or newly generated content.

✳

Keep in mind — AI systems can make mistakes. Their outputs should be judged in context, especially when accuracy matters.
